Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
AWS Cloud Support:
  • Administer and support the CTERA Remote File Portal Application and its associated database hosted on AWS EC2 instances.
  • Manage and monitor AWS EBS volumes, EC2 instances, and S3 storage integrated with the CTERA solution.
  • Conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, backups, and patching of the application and database.
  • Perform AWS resource optimization and security hardening as required.
CTERA Edge Device Support:
  • Provide operational support for CTERA edge devices deployed in multiple on-premises environments.
  • Facilitate and troubleshoot file synchronization, caching, and remote access issues between edge devices and AWS cloud storage.
  • Monitor health, connectivity, and performance of edge devices, performing remote or onsite intervention when needed.
  • Support onboarding and configuration of new edge devices for end users.
Connectivity & Network Support:
  • Ensure stable and secure connections between edge devices and AWS cloud via public internet and dedicated connections such as MPLS.
  • Troubleshoot network issues affecting file access and synchronization.
  • Collaborate with network teams to resolve latency, throughput, or configuration challenges.
End User Support:
  • Act as point of contact for end users and IT teams for queries or problems related to remote file access.
  • Provide resolution to tickets involving both cloud and edge device services.
  • Document common issues and resolutions, maintaining updated runbooks and user guides.
Monitoring, Reporting, & Documentation:
  • Implement monitoring for cloud resources, application metrics, and edge device status.
  • Generate reports on service performance, file access metrics, incident response, and usage.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for configuration, processes, troubleshooting steps, and incident history.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in AWS Cloud, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with AWS services including AWS EC2, EBS, and S3.
  • Solid understanding of CTERA Enterprise File Services (Cloud and Edge devices).
  • Familiarity with remote file access, synchronization, and cloud-to-edge file gateway architectures.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting hybrid network connections (Internet, VPNs, MPLS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and documentation best practices.
Preferred:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps certification.
  • Knowledge of database administration in cloud environments.
  • Experience with enterprise storage platforms and file services.
  • Prior experience supporting distributed teams or multi-site infrastructure
