We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multi-tenant class A & B office buildings, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the building's infrastructure. This includes HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and more. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and a hands-on approach to their work.

Responsibilities:

As a Building Engineer, you will be tasked with the following:

1. Oversee and maintain all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
2. Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance on systems and equipment.
3. Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
4. Perform repairs on commercial office buildings, including carpentry, painting, and hardware installation.
5. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems, motors, relays, hydraulics, pneumatics, and more.
6. Handle snow removal, housekeeping, and maintenance of roofs, drains, and ground equipment.
7. Utilize a smartphone for communication and task management.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
9. Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working as a building engineer on multi-tenant class A & B office buildings within the last 5 years.
2. HVAC trade school certificate/degree preferred.
3. Experience working at a commercial property.
4. Proficiency in MS Office.
5. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
6. Skills in soldering, carpentry, and snow removal.
7. Ability to use a smartphone for work purposes.
8. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
9. Experience in housekeeping and repairs on commercial office buildings.
10. Knowledge of refrigeration systems, motors, relays, hydraulics, pneumatics.
11. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
12. Ability to paint walls, install door hardware, and maintain kitchen equipment.
13. Experience in maintaining roofs, drains, and shop and ground equipment.
14. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
15. Able to maintain great client relationships with tenants and address building needs as they arise
