We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role serves as a senior technical resource for escalations, ensures systems are secure and scalable, and provides mentorship to IT team members.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience).
7+ years in IT infrastructure/system engineering roles.
Expertise in:
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
ITIL framework knowledge; certifications (Azure, Security+, ITIL) preferred.

Overview
We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role serves as a senior technical resource for escalations, ensures systems are secure and scalable, and provides mentorship to IT team members.
Responsibilities
- Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and incidents.
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure, including servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and related identity/security services.
- Drive IT infrastructure projects from planning through delivery.
- Implement and monitor security, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Optimize system performance and scalability through monitoring and improvements.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the IT team.
- Partner with vendors and stakeholders to ensure quality solutions and services.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience).
7+ years in IT infrastructure/system engineering roles.
Expertise in:
- Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure)
- Identity management (Entra ID / Active Directory)
- Microsoft 365 and endpoint management (Intune, Defender, Autopilot)
- MDR tools, Zero Trust models, and cloud-managed networking (Cisco Meraki, Fortinet)
- Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python)
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
