Remote Position
6+Month Contract

Overview:

Seeking a Product Design Principal for an immediate contract position. You'll work across multiple sectors (Financial Services, Life Sciences, Tech, Telco) to design and innovate digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and innovate digital experiences for major brands.
• Lead the definition and implementation of digital and design strategy.
• Manage, inspire, guide, and lead project teams.
• Support new business with proposals and pitches.
• Consult clients to strengthen relationships and ensure high design quality and client value.
• Collaborate with teams including designers, developers, BA, Product Owners, Product Managers, and Delivery Managers.
• Design and test prototypes.
• Explore the boundaries of AI, personalization, AR/VR, and cloud computing.
• Oversee qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Motivate and manage an energetic and collaborative team.
• Perform performance management of more junior designers.
• Ensure standards and best practices are followed across teams and time zones.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in leading digital agencies as an experience design practitioner.
• Dynamic portfolio of complex, digital experiences for global brands.
• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision.
• Bias for action and tolerance to navigate ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of other disciplines such as business, technology, delivery, marketing, and content.
• Experience rolling out large products from proposition through to delivery.
• Significant hands-on experience creating a wide range of digital experiences across channels, industries, and audiences.
• Ability to define the approach, plan, and estimate effort for new, complex pieces of experience design work.
• Experience integrating design into large, complex, scaled Agile programs across various frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Craft, Zeplin, and Keynote.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
