Job Description
Immediate need for a Mainframe Systems Programmer to support the mainframe z/OS operating system, its subsystems and related program products including DB2.
Qualifications / Skills Required
- zOS systems engineering experience
- Experience with following mainframe technologies: zos, zosmf and mvs
- Excellent trouble shooting skills
- Able to work in a stressed situation like system outage
- Engineering support for zOSMF and new zos technologies, zos connect, zos explorer, kafka, rest api. kerberos
- Strong USS/OMVS skills
- Experience with z/OS and ISV software installations
- Excellent Testing skills (design tests to validate software functionality, robustness, performance)
- REXX experience
- Weekend support and on-call rotation
