Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace/OpenStack).
- Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.
- Debugs cluster-based computing architectures.
- Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
- Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.
- Configures management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt).
- Architecture for continuous integration and deployment, and continuous monitoring.
- Uses and works with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket).
- Plans and leads major technology assignments.
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- May supervise others.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems
- Management, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
- Strong communication skills
