Position Title: Program Manager

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $78 to $80

Title: Program Manager
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 2 months (Potential Chances for extension)

Summary:

The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and program rollout.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.


• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.


• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.


• Work closely with program/process owners to identify change and drive the consensus necessary following the manageable change strategy.


• Identify gaps and scope optimizations for program efficiencies, develop framework for emerging areas that align with current business processes.


• Manage multiple programs and projects involving multiple parties/organizations in parallel.


• Design solutions in collaboration with engineering teams to improve product quality and related processes.


• Lead engineering teams towards targeted and scheduled outcome providing regular workstream status to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.


• Confer with management and partner teams to onboard new programs and procedures, including development of reports to show status.

• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time


• Proficiency in Azure DevOps (formerly Visual Studio) and Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams


• Strong ability to work with data related technologies such as Azure Data Explorer, SQL, Power BI, etc.


• Knowledge of Source Control systems and usage patterns and Git


• Solid understanding of engineering systems (work & code management, build, validation, deployment, instrumentation) service operations at scale

Education/Experience:

• 6-10 years of program management experience


• Bachelor's degree or related industry experience


• Knowledge of software security and/or compliance regulation preferred

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 6-10 years of program management years of experience in the field.


• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree is required to be eligible for this role.


• Disqualifiers: Candidates who are not mindful when sharing private information will not be eligible for the role.


• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain Report building experience.


• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on impact of work and quality.
