Description
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Southfield, Michigan. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms to design, implement, and manage scalable solutions that meet business needs. This position requires a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless application deployment.
Monitor and optimize cloud environments using tools like Amazon CloudWatch and Auto Scaling.
Enhance cloud security by implementing access controls, encryption, and network security measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business objectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Utilize scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and task optimization.
Work on containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline application management.
Provide expertise in API development and automation processes to improve system functionality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of cloud computing services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless architecture.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of cloud security principles, including encryption, access controls, and network security.
Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Architect.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
