Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to provide business function support in various power delivery settings. This role involves providing clerical and administrative support, utilizing PC and mainframe applications, and developing customized reports.
Responsibilities
Provide business function support in various power delivery settings.
Provide clerical and some administrative support.
Utilize PC and mainframe applications proficiently.
Develop customized reports using integrated systems and MS Office applications.
Present information using oral and written skills.
Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma
5+ years experience in a corporate environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs like Excel/Word (Excel: ability to complete VLookups, utilize formulas and pivot tables)
Experienced with CRM systems (SalesForce experience would be a plus)
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Ability to work with teammates and autonomously
Keen attention to detail
Intermediate or advanced analysis/critical thinking skills
Experience with issue resolution with a customer service mindset
Home office space with no distractions and personal office equipment (monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset)
Webcam required for meetings
Preferred Skills & Experience
Familiarity with power companies
Experience in the retail utility industry
SQL (ability to modify/run/create queries)
