Sr Architect and Lead Java Dev

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop complex Tableau dashboards, extracts and backend data sourcing
2. Experience with complex Tableau concepts required in meeting difficult client requirements and building advanced visualizations (LoD, Table Calculations, drill down capabilities etc.)
3. Utilize hands-on Tableau development experience, including parameter usage with top N records, business date, sheet swapping, and more
4. Leverage advanced SQL skills for efficient data manipulation and extraction, particularly with complex queries & and window functions in SQL
5. Present reports with strong layout and presentation skills
6. Handle various file formats, including CSV, XML, HTML, XLSX, and PDF
7. Optimize and enhance the performance of Tableau workbooks, dashboards, and data sources. Identify and rectify performance.

• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Enhancing workbook and dashboard performance
• Improving data source and query performance

1. Hands-on experience in migrating Tableau content across environments
2. Embed and integrate dashboards in existing web apps
3. Strong report layout and presentation skills
4. Experience handling and producing different file formats: CSV, XML, HTML, XLSX and PDF among others

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Tableau Design & Development.
2. In-depth understanding of Tableau's internal architecture and security frameworks
3. Mastery of SQL, including expertise in crafting highly efficient and optimized SQL queries, especially with complex concepts and expertise in data warehousing principles.
4. Extensive experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting in Tableau Desktop and Server
5. Tableau certifications
