We are looking to hire suitable candidates for HBITS-07-14524 - Mainframe Architect opportunity with one of our clients in Albany, NY, 12227.

We are a prime vendor to the New York State and work on their HBITS: Hourly-Based IT Services (New York Statewide) requirements.

Primary Skills:

• 84 Months of experience in in a leadership role where the candidate has consistently managed teams of more than 25 people in an IT environment, overseeing complex projects and ensuring successful delivery.
• 84 Months of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent, specifically handling responsibilities such as system development life cycle management, IT service provisioning, and application infrastructure.
• 84 Months of experience in managing IT projects with several thousand users such as enterprise-wide system implementations, with a strong emphasis on application architecture and development in languages like Java, .NET and Cobol.
• 84 Months of Software development experience in Cobol, Java, or .NET technologies.
• 84 Months experience in project coordination, specializing in leading technology or common service teams for significant projects within state or government financial organizations.
• 84 Months of experience with IBM software which includes WebSphere Application Server (WAS), COBOL, IBM DB2, IBM MQSeries, JCL, and IBM DataStage).
• 84 Months experience in leading continuity of operations programs and disaster recovery plans, particularly in high-stakes, operational environments.
• 84 months experience with a Government Taxation organization, which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex Tax Return processing.
