Job Details
Role: System Test Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Location: Raleigh, NC (5 days onsite from the office)
Job Description:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Biomedical, Computer, Electrical or Software preferred. .
- 3+ years of experience in software or hardware integration testing, with at least 2 years in a test developer role.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, both manual and automated.
- Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to write, edit, and follow test protocols and test reports.
- Familiarity with regulated industry and testing environments (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820)
- Knowledge of Reliability testing a plus
- Experience in manual testing of HW components
- Proficiency using testing tools and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Detail oriented with focus on high Quality deliverables
- Ability to adapt a new technologies and environments quickly
- Proficiency in English and ability to communicate clear with the clients
- C++ and Python programming experience is required
- Medical device or robotics industry is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive tests on surgical robot components and ensure thorough documentation of the testing process.
- Perform manual tests on surgical robot components and input devices
- Utilize appropriate testing tools and methodologies for accurate assessment
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each test scenario operations in the team.
- Collaborate with the development team and the client to identify and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
Department/Project Description:
As a System Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to test components of robotic surgical systems on the client's side. The client is located in NC, USA. The role will primarily involve manual testing of surgical robot component
