Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Software Engineer
Location: Manassas, VA (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract (12+ months, option to convert, contract-to-hire)

Contract Duration: 12+ Months (option to convert to permanent)
Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Software/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM field (Master's preferred)
At least 8 years of DSP software development experience (or 6+ years with a relevant Master's)
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming
Experience developing and optimizing DSP algorithms for undersea sensor applications
MATLAB for algorithm development and simulation
Familiarity with DSP hardware platforms and architectures
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
U.S. citizenship
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Desired Skills & Experience Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development
Background in submarine or surface ship sonar systems
Knowledge of underwater acoustics and sonar systems
Familiarity with machine learning/AI as applied to signal processing
Oceanographic data analysis/modeling experience
