The Director of CNP (Commercial Network Provider) IT Operations will be a key leader in the Commercial, Network, Provider, and IT Technical Operations organization ensuring the effective delivery and utilization of technology assets and budget. They will insure the effective utilization of over 400 colleagues, >800 contractors and >100M budget toward our key goals and objectives. They will interact with multiple levels of the organization to ensure our operational initiatives such as security implementations, audits, cloud utilization, business continuity planning, tech debt remediation, and devsecops maturity are tracked/completed flawlessly. This is an exciting role and will be consistently engaged in a multitude of interactions with our CNP leadership team as well as Aetna Technology leaders.
This is a role that should be foundationally built on a person familiar with technology execution and fulfillment. They need to be constantly inquisitive asking why, digging into true root cause while serving as a liaison between our Aetna Technology initiatives and our delivery leaders/teams.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

Responsibilities of the role
- Technical leader that can translate complex ideas/concepts into business understandable and presentable information.
- Drive and coordinate enterprise strategies with commercial, network/provider, and affiliates technology leaders to ensure meaningful goals and targets are set
- Ability to dive deep into business or technology initiatives, simplify the opportunity statement, and help establish business cases, OKRs and solution paths.
- Curate content and analyze key data for leadership update meetings, large scale projects, and monthly achievements.
- Establish organizational communication strategy and patterns. This includes Townhall, Monthly Update Email and other content.
- Organize, monitor, and drive the full utilization of capital, operational, and expense budgets.
- Set agenda, collate materials and facilitate CNP leadership meetings to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
- Monitor key strategic initiatives and coordinate with portfolio and projects leaders ensuring key risks and issues are managed appropriately.
- Design and lead organizational technical and leadership training plans. Maximizing colleague learning opportunity and engagement
- Organize, lead, and monitor organizational key results and goals.
- Coordinate and drive technical and organizational issues to completion. This leader will be asked to organize highly technical staff around a single objective or issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ Years coordinating large complex organization.
- 10+ Years in a technical role with firm understanding of technology concepts.
- 5+ Years of established background building successful business cases.
- 5+ Years within a large technology organization.
- 5+ Years establishing clear communications for a large organization (Presentation, Town Halls, etc).
- 5+ Years of leadership, team lead, and performance management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with financial systems.
- Comfortable challenging and working with all levels of leadership and colleague.
- Proven experience as a self-driver.
