Backend Developer

Required Skills for Backend Developer

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with backend development using C#/.NET Framework (or .NET Core), including building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency in C++, especially for system-level development, embedded workflows, or low-level components integrated with backend services.
• Good understanding of the MQTT protocol, including payload configuration, communication protocol support, and integration between devices and backend systems.
• Experience with embedded systems development, including firmware development, hardware configuration, and integration between embedded devices and server-side systems.
• 2–3 years of experience working with SQL databases, including writing queries, debugging stored procedures, and ensuring data consistency across services.
• Solid understanding of backend-to-frontend communication flows, API response structures, serialization/deserialization (JSON, Proto), and debugging API issues.
• Experience performing code reviews, ensuring backend system stability, and maintaining production-grade services.
• Proficiency in GitHub for branching, code review, and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code for debugging backend services, tracing API calls, and performing hotfixes.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with microservices or distributed systems.
• Exposure to real-time data pipelines or streaming integrations.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
