Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Project Owner to lead the adoption, integration, and ongoing optimization of our centralized project management platform-Sensei, built on Microsoft 365. While direct Sensei experience is preferred, they are open to candidates with hands-on expertise in similar enterprise project tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Planview, Smartsheet) who can ramp up quickly.

This individual will own the platform roadmap, collaborate cross-functionally to streamline project tracking across all business units, and lead the configuration and optimization of Microsoft 365 tools that support project visibility and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the enterprise-wide owner of Sensei and its integration with Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Work closely with the external Sensei vendor partner to manage ongoing platform enhancements, support, and best practice alignment.
  • Own and continuously evolve the rollout roadmap, including timelines, business unit onboarding strategies, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Drive cross-organizational adoption by training users, developing documentation, and implementing change management strategies.
  • Configure and maintain integrations with Microsoft Power BI, Azure DevOps, Teams, Project for the Web, and Power Automate to support robust project visibility.
  • Ensure project data quality, governance, and reporting consistency across all business units.
  • Identify and remove barriers to adoption by simplifying workflows and tailoring platform capabilities to business needs.
  • Establish regular feedback loops with users and leadership to drive improvements and platform evolution.
  • Translate project needs into configuration updates, dashboards, automations, or process enhancements within the platform.
  • Collaborate with PMO leaders, IT, and operational teams to ensure project platform aligns with enterprise goals and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to be on-site 3+ days/week in the Greater Philadelphia area.
  • 5+ years of experience in product/platform ownership, project systems administration, or project operations-ideally in a multi-business-unit organization.
  • Direct experience with enterprise project management platforms such as Sensei, Monday.com, Planview, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Strong experience configuring and managing tools in the Microsoft ecosystem: Power BI, Azure DevOps, Power Automate, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated success in driving tool adoption, building stakeholder engagement, and leading change in a project-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to manage platform roadmaps, execute rollouts, and optimize project data flow across complex organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, influence, and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and working closely with external solution partners.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.

Top 3 Priorities for the Role:
  • Ramp up quickly on Sensei (if not already experienced), working closely with the external Sensei implementation partner and internal stakeholders.
  • Own and refine the rollout roadmap, enhancing it with clear timelines, stakeholder milestones, and an execution strategy.
  • Standardize Sensei adoption across all business units, ensuring consistent project management practices, full visibility, and alignment with organizational priorities.
