Job Title: Murex DevOps Consultant.

Location: New York, NY. (Hybrid or Remote)

Duration: FTE or Contract

Job description:

Murex DevOps Operations Consultant

Environment deployment and Management Operations

Deploy and manage Murex Software needed for Murex client projects using Murex tools and scripts

Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products

Act as a first level support for already deployed Murex products redirecting and following the issues with the corresponding support teams

Performing system health checks and diagnostics RAM CPU processes etc to ensure optimal performance and uptime

Automating routine tasks

Conversion of a customer database

Perform database sanitization and purging procedures

Migration sequence execution and stabilization

Setting Methodologies and Procedures

Contribute to creating the environment and configuration management methodologies conversion processes communication workflows and needed templates and documentation

Customize and document the installation and the conversion upgrade procedures

Deliver needed training and best practices for Clients and project teams

Manage internal streams contribute to creating tools measure related KPIs and analyze potential issues

Technical Skills

Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering or related discipline

Experience with scripting languages

Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of technical machine specifications

Knowledge of XML manipulations

Knowledge of UNIX Operations with hands on expertise in command line operations

Knowledge of RDMS Operations

Understanding of the Financial markets
