IT Support Specialist
Location: Stapleton Area,
Denver, CO (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
The IT Support Specialist provides
over-the-phone, remote, and desk-side technical support to end users for issues
related to computer hardware, software, and mobile devices. This role serves as
the first point of contact for technical inquiries via phone, email, and
walk-ins, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service as the first-level support contact (phone, email, walk-in).
  • Document, track, and resolve technical issues, including:
    • Password resets
    • User setups
    • Application support
    • Hardware troubleshooting
    • Phone swaps/support
    • Workstation/laptop configuration and imaging
    • Printer/copier service
  • Escalate Level 2+ issues to senior technicians or appropriate support groups.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of core technologies (networking, telephony, operating systems, hardware, security).
  • Assist with ticketing systems and follow established guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: 1+ year in a Help Desk or IT Support role preferred.
  • Certifications: MCSE, MCP, CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred but not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Construction industry knowledge is a plus.

Technical Skills
  • Desktop support (Windows OS)
  • Office 365
  • Ticketing systems (ManageEngine Service Desk+, ServiceNow experience preferred)
  • Laptop imaging (WDS experience preferred)

Additional Requirements
  • Onsite position; reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to travel occasionally between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro area during work hours.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, and use office equipment; occasional stooping or kneeling.
