Job Description

As the Software Product Acquisition Manager (SPAM), responsibilities include providing engineering management and oversight for the supplier software development efforts for the F-35 & IFG Electro-Optical/Infra-Red (EO/IR) IPT; Participate in and influence design decisions; Coordinate and provide supplier software deliveries; Provide periodic project status to Program Management; and Manage EO/IR Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics. Prior subcontractor management experience preferred. This position will interface weekly with the supplier. Other duties will include maintaining EO/IR entries into the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD); coordination of internal reviews and maintaining EO/IR Flight Series Data (FSD) modules; and supporting system level reviews for ASRD and Flight Series Data Change Request's (FSDCR). This includes maintenance and publication of the F-35 EO/IR Interface Requirements Specification (IRS), as well as the maintenance of the message format definitions in the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS) tool.

Final DOD Secret Clearance and ability to be cleared to Special Access Programs required.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This position requires the candidate travel approximately one week per month.

Basic Qualifications

-Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Disciplined in software development processes & methods
-Must be able to get program clearance in addition to having a Final Secret Clearance.
-Bachelor's degree in an Engineer/Technical field.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position requires a Final Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to start.

Desired skills

-Experience with Dimensions, SW Depot, CART and Automet
-Experience with SIMS
-Previous supplier technical management experience

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
