Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst in IS Business Intelligence to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Portage, Michigan, and focuses on the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence systems to drive informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise and analytical skills to solve complex problems, optimize processes, and deliver innovative solutions in the medical devices industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture.
Collaborate with senior management across business and IT teams to identify, prioritize, and implement data and information solutions.
Solve intricate technical challenges and optimize the performance of business intelligence tools by defining and indexing valuable data.
Develop testing methodologies and criteria to ensure the accuracy and reliability of business intelligence systems.
Create and deliver training programs to empower users to maximize the capabilities of business intelligence tools for decision-making.
Establish and implement standards, policies, and procedures for the structure and attributes of business intelligence systems.
Define and monitor metrics to measure the quality and integrity of data and information.
Research emerging technologies and develop business cases to support innovative business intelligence solutions.
Work independently to analyze and apply expertise in solving business challenges.
Utilize tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, and cloud technologies to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, demonstrating attention to detail.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
Experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for business intelligence systems.
Knowledge of ERP solutions and integration processes.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering training programs.
