Job Details

Position Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months Duration
Job Details:

MUST HAVE:

5-7 years of experience in Azure cloud services.
Strong knowledge of Azure core services and governance.
Experience with containers, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud scenarios.
Proficiency in RBAC, conditional access, MFA, and Britive.
Expertise in IaC, ARM templates, GitHub actions, and Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize Azure core services including compute (VMs, App Services), networking (VNets, ExpressRoute, NSGs), storage, and identity management.
  • Implement and enforce Azure governance policies with a strong understanding of Azure Policy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) to guide cloud adoption strategies.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Instances (ACI).
  • Develop and maintain serverless computing solutions using Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
  • Design and implement hybrid cloud scenarios leveraging Azure Arc.
  • Configure and manage RBAC roles, conditional access, and MFA, with knowledge of Britive being a plus.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using languages such as Bicep, PowerShell, Bash, and Terraform.
  • Develop and manage ARM templates and GitHub actions for automated deployments.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and project management.
  • Understand and manage networking components including DNS, IP addressing, load balancing, endpoints, and private links.
  • Monitor and maintain Azure environments using Azure Monitor or OpsRamp.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery and high availability solutions.
  • Create and manage template specs for consistent deployments.
  • Provide low-level design and technical expertise for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure core services and governance.
  • Experience with containers, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud scenarios.
  • Proficiency in RBAC, conditional access, MFA, and Britive.
  • Expertise in IaC, ARM templates, GitHub actions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of networking, monitoring, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
