Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT System Support Specialist (1st Shift) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company s IT infrastructure, troubleshooting system and network issues, and ensuring smooth daily IT operations. You will serve as the first point of contact for end users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other IT systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues across Windows and/or macOS environments.
  • Respond to support tickets, emails, and calls; log issues and document resolutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
  • Support end-users in person, over the phone, and remotely.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements or patches as needed.
  • Maintain IT documentation, inventory records, and asset management.
  • Assist with IT onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 3 years of experience in a technical support or IT system support role.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and general networking concepts.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.
  • Familiarity with basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
