Overview
We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team within the R&D Data, Digital, and Technology Strategy and Operations organization. The ideal candidate will leverage and expand our semantic data model to drive strategic insights, improve operational efficiency, and enhance data quality across our project portfolios. Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid - flexible schedule) Develop and maintain data quality dashboards in Power BI to ensure system connectivity and data integrity. Design and deliver FP&A analytics to support data-driven decision-making using YoY, rolling averages, and other financial trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative data solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Conduct data mining and trend analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement across R&D project portfolios. Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, aligning findings with strategic goals. Track the impact of analytics solutions on financial performance and operational efficiency; adjust approaches based on outcomes. Support training and mentoring of team members on data analytics tools and methodologies. Bachelor s degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and visualization. Proficiency in financial analysis and knowledge of FP&A processes. Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) in an enterprise setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative mindset with experience working across diverse teams. Experience in an R&D, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical environment. Familiarity with semantic data models and modern data architectures. Job Type: Long-term Contract
This is a hybrid position based in Cambridge, MA, with flexible onsite expectations. While there's no set number of required days per week in the office, the ability to come onsite as needed particularly for whiteboarding, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge transfer (KT) is highly beneficial.Key Responsibilities
