Mulesoft Architect with BA experience

Role: MuleSoft Technical Architect & Business Analyst Discovery Phase

Location: Neptune Township, NJ

Duration: 5 Weeks

Overview:

We are looking for a MuleSoft Technical Architect and a Business Analyst to lead the initial discovery phase of a MuleSoft integration program. The professionals will work closely with stakeholders to understand current systems, integration needs, and define the future-state architecture and roadmap.

MuleSoft Technical Architect Key Responsibilities:

Lead discovery sessions with client s technical and business stakeholders.

Evaluate current system integrations and APIs.

Define high-level integration architecture and data flow diagrams.

Recommend the right MuleSoft approach (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, etc.).

Assist with estimation, planning, and technical documentation.

Work closely with the BA to translate business needs into scalable MuleSoft designs.

Required Skills:

8+ years in integration architecture with 4+ years in MuleSoft.

Experience in enterprise API design, RAML, and Anypoint Platform.

Strong understanding of security (OAuth, JWT), governance, and CI/CD.

Prior discovery/consulting experience preferred.

Business Analyst Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements across departments.

Document current-state and target-state integration processes.

Define user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria.

Identify gaps, risks, and business impact during the discovery phase.

Collaborate with the technical team to align business needs with architecture.

Required Skills:

6+ years as a Business Analyst in IT or Digital Transformation.

Experience with integration projects (preferably MuleSoft).

Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
