We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Engineer PCB Assembly & Quality Compliance to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
This hybrid role combines responsibilities in Engineering and quality/compliance, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both the technical production and regulatory excellence of our PCB manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering with a strong interest or experience in quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & PCB Manufacturing:
- Collaborate with design teams to convert schematic diagrams into manufacturable PCB layouts.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, customer specifications, and DFM principles.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize PCB manufacturing and assembly.
- Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate documentation for PCB designs, specifications, and manufacturing changes.
- Conduct inspections and tests of assembled PCBs to ensure quality and reliability.
Quality & Compliance:
- Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other QMS standards.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and reports.
- Help track, analyze, and report quality metrics, including customer complaints and non-conformities.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Update and maintain quality documentation including procedures, manuals, and work instructions.
- Collaborate across departments (Engineering, Production, and Quality) to uphold compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in training programs and contribute to raising quality awareness across teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor s or Associate Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in PCB design/manufacturing or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment (electronics/automotive preferred).
- Working knowledge of CAD tools and PCB design software.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, CAPA, or SPC is a plus.
- ISO/IATF Internal Auditor certification is a plus but not mandatory.
