We are looking for Gen AI Engineer for our client in Hartford, CT
Job Title: Gen AI Engineer

Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr
Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines using Google Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker, and cloud-native services.
  • Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for enterprise applications.
  • Implement Generative AI solutions across text, image, and multimodal use cases.
  • Leverage LangChain/LangGraph frameworks to build AI agents and orchestration flows.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions.
  • Apply Deep Learning architectures (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs, GANs) for complex use cases.
  • Establish prompt engineering strategies, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and model fine-tuning.
  • Ensure compliance with AI security, governance, and ethical guidelines.
  • Document processes, track metrics, and monitor model performance.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development.
  • Strong expertise in Google Vertex AI and AWS ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.).
  • Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph and AI orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face.
  • Solid understanding of LLM fine-tuning, NLP, and Generative AI.
  • Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and model monitoring pipelines.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT, structured & unstructured data integration.
