Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Selenium, with a passion for developing innovative testing solutions that ensure the highest quality of our products. As part of our QA team, candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, executing API tests, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in an Agile environment.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Calgary, AB is CAD $85k - CAD $90k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:
  • Experienced QA resource with strong Java & Selenium/Java QA.
  • Strong in writing SQL queries.
  • Develop framework components and script development for automated testing.
  • Exposure to Rest API Automation.
  • Working in Agile Methodology.
  • Build and release process(CI/CD implementation knowledge).
  • Ready to work on different innovative Tools.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with strong Java and Selenium expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL querying for database validation.
  • Solid understanding of REST API automation testing.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
