Location: Warwick, RI
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, management, and optimization of our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient network operations and lead a team of network engineers and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-based networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
- Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, load balancers, and other networking hardware/software.
- Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and security protocols.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of network infrastructure.
- Manage network projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades to optimize performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of network administrators and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with other IT teams on systems integration and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network administration or engineering.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications preferred (CCNP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.).

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
