Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices and ensuring that our teams are aligned with the principles of Scrum. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration, drive project success, and deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a deep understanding of cloud computing and IT governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements and ensure that the backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
- Coach teams on Agile methodologies, promoting best practices in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Utilize tools such as VersionOne to track progress and manage project timelines effectively.
- Negotiate resources and priorities with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist in the development of test cases and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of product quality.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement within team processes.
- Support program management efforts by providing insights into team performance metrics and project health.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably in a senior capacity.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with requirements gathering techniques and tools.
- Experience using VersionOne or similar project management software.
- Understanding of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively across diverse teams.
- Proficient in managing databases related to project tracking and reporting.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies.
- Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent) is preferred.
