Location: On-Site - Jersey City, NJ (close to Exchange Place, Path and Light Commuter rail, + parking nearby).
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
Salary: $45,000-$50,000

Position Overview:
The Production Technician plays a key role in daily manufacturing operations within a GMP/ISO-regulated cleanroom. Responsibilities include hand assembly, machine operation, cosmetic batching/filling, equipment maintenance, and quality checks for skincare and cosmetic products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fill, and package cosmetic products (creams, gels, serums, lotions)
- Operate, clean, and maintain semi-automatic and automatic filling equipment
- Follow batch records and SOPs for production and documentation accuracy
- Conduct in-process inspections (appearance, weight, seal integrity)
- Maintain cleanroom hygiene and contamination control procedures
- Assist in equipment troubleshooting, basic repairs, and routine maintenance
- Support preparation of finished goods for gamma sterilization
- Collaborate with internal teams on equipment calibration and maintenance
- Train new staff in procedures and safety protocols
- Cosmetic manufacturing or similar experience desired.
- Handling delicate cosmetic components (jars, pumps, tubes, airless packaging)
- Knowledge of viscosity, texture, and temperature control in skincare production
- Familiarity with FDA cosmetic labeling and compliance guidelines
- Warehouse support and Program Logic Control (PLC) knowledge is a plus
- Proficient in GMP, ISO standards, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Comfortable using basic lab equipment (scales, mixers, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and minor troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
