Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, customize, and implement SAP GTS modules including:
    • Compliance Management (e.g., embargo checks, legal control, SPL screening)
    • Customs Management
    • Risk Management
    • Electronic Compliance Reporting (e.g., Intrastat)
  • Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external customs or compliance systems.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional/technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Support global trade processes such as import/export declarations, classification (HS, ECCN), and duty management.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the SAP GTS system.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and documentation.
  • Train end users and support change management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 3 7 years of experience in SAP GTS implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of global trade processes and regulatory compliance (e.g., EAR, ITAR, EU regulations).
  • Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP GTS implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with integration between SAP GTS and SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with trade compliance topics such as sanctioned party list screening, license determination, and customs declarations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP GTS certification.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of regional regulatory trade requirements (e.g., US, EU, APAC).
  • Experience working in a multinational/global organization.
  • Understanding of ABAP debugging is a plus.
