Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Java Developer with expertise in Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Google ADK (Accessory Development Kit). The ideal candidate will design and develop backend services in Java, integrate AI models with external tools through MCP, and work on Android/embedded system interactions using Google ADK. This role requires a mix of backend engineering, AI tool integration, and hardware/software interfacing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices)
- Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) for seamless AI/LLM integrations with enterprise tools and APIs
- Work with Google ADK to enable Java applications to communicate with Android devices and accessories
- Build and consume REST/GraphQL APIs for backend and AI-driven applications
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate LLMs into enterprise workflows
- Work on device-to-cloud communication and integration with external hardware/software systems
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance of backend and device integrations
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4 8 years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot, Microservices, and API design
- Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI/LLM integrations
- Strong understanding of Google ADK (Accessory Development Kit) for Android/device communication
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and gRPC
- Familiarity with AI/LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Android application development (Java/Kotlin)
- Exposure to embedded systems or IoT device integration
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with MLOps pipelines for AI model deployment
- Prior work integrating hardware accessories with backend AI workflows
