One of our government clients in the government domain is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect 2 to join their Information Technology Services team.DODD is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization dedicated to serving the citizens of Ohio. The selected candidate will play a key role in transforming the organization s technology and business landscape by leading the design and implementation of a consolidated application platform leveraging Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions. This initiative aims to enhance services for business partners, county boards, providers, and the community. The Senior Enterprise Architect 2 will be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of enterprise solutions to meet the State of Ohio s business needs. This role demands deep technical expertise in Salesforce and MuleSoft, strong architectural design skills, and the ability to collaborate across business and IT teams to deliver scalable, innovative solutions.

Interview Process: A Combination of Microsoft Teams and in-person interviews

Responsibilities:

1. Salesforce and MuleSoft Expertise

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms, staying current on best practices and new features.
  • Lead the design and maintenance of technical architecture across Salesforce and MuleSoft.
  • Develop scalable, efficient, and secure solutions aligned with long-term business goals.
  • Define API architecture and integration best practices.

2. Solution Design and Development

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to gather and refine requirements.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation.
  • Oversee development, ensuring adherence to standards for code quality, security, and scalability.

3. Integration and Data Management

  • Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server, and other enterprise systems.
  • Design data migration strategies from SQL Server to the State Data Lake, incorporating transformation and governance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements.

4. Performance Optimization

  • Monitor application and system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Implement industry best practices to ensure system stability, performance, and reliability.

5. Leadership and Coaching

  • Mentor and guide junior architects and development team members.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the architecture group.

Required Skills:

  • 10 Years of experience in software development.
  • 4 Years of experience in software architecture.
  • 4 Years of experience in Mulesoft or demonstrated experience
  • 4 Years of experience in Salesforce or demonstrated experience.
  • 2 Years of experience in software integration.

Desired Certification:

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architect strongly preferred.
  • MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
