Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AI/ML Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team! In this role you will get to interface with government customers and develop advanced, cutting-edge AI solutions for our warfighters.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Interfaces with multiple DoD/IC government customers and mission-partners
  • Deriving technical requirements from discussions with end-users and delivering on those requirements in project milestones
  • Software development and implementation into both new and existing DoD/IC systems & programs
  • Traveling in support of exercises, engagements, and conferences on behalf of government customers in the DoD/IC
  • Embedding into mission-partner environments to solve real-world problems at the speed and scale demanded for national security applications

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Experience with mission requirements capture in at least two of the following: ISR, geospatial intelligence, data analysis and mission planning.
  • 2+ years experience in applied mathematical, algorithmic, or artificial intelligence/machine learning capabilities and strategies
  • Mathematics Degree
  • Demonstrated understanding of the customer network in one or more of the following: National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), US Army, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Special Operations Command (SOCOM), US Marine Corps, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)
  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 10-20%.
  • Coding proficiency in various languages & development environments
  • Must possess experience with artificial intelligence and its application to government customer requirements and mission-sets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate customer requirements effectively
  • Must be eligible to receive a TS/SCI CI POLY clearance which requires ship
  • Internship supporting the DOD

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Background in developing or integrating AI/ML technologies into operational environments
  • Experience with DoD/IC programmatic support preferred
  • Ability to translate mission requirements into technical requirements for input to project leads and milestone tracking
  • Basic understanding of software, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts
  • Demonstrates ability to influence, inspire trust and establish & sustain credibility
  • Previous experience working with multiple IC/DoD partners

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $109,000.00
