About the Role
iSphere is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in digital transformation and business process reengineering (BPR). This isn t just a documentation role this is for someone who thrives on analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing complex business processes to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
You ll serve as the bridge between business strategy and execution, working across operations, IT, and product teams to ensure solutions align with organizational goals. This position also requires strong familiarity with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture) and large-scale government transformation initiatives.
What You ll Do

Drive Digital Transformation: Lead and contribute to enterprise-level initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and designing future-state capabilities that leverage emerging technologies.

Lead BPR Efforts: Analyze current-state business processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and design streamlined processes that improve quality, cost, and service.

Business Architecture & Modeling: Develop business process models (BPMN), data models, capability models, and organizational models to communicate strategy and execution plans.

Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with executives, business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements. Translate strategic objectives into actionable specifications.

Bridge Business & IT: Ensure technical teams fully understand business needs, and business stakeholders understand the impacts of technical decisions.

Change Leadership: Influence and manage change with a focus on collaboration, adoption, and measurable business results.
What You ll Bring
-
12+ years in a Business Architect or senior BA role, driving enterprise-level initiatives.

12+ years of success leading large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects.

12+ years of hands-on MITA experience (including State Self-Assessments highly desired).

10+ years with BPMN, UML, ArchiMate, and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF preferred).

10+ years of business modeling, stakeholder engagement, and requirement definition.

10+ years of excellent communication skills able to present, negotiate, and influence at all levels.

8+ years with a Bachelor s in Business, IT, Computer Science (Master s preferred).
Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on HHS experience (Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, CHIP).

Government/public sector project experience.

CBAP, TOGAF, BPMN, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.

Familiarity with Agile or SAFe environments.
