Job Details
Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Systems Analyst in Albany, NY.
Description:
? Conduct a detailed inventory of legacy applications, documenting their functionality, dependencies, and usage.
? Analyze and evaluate the suitability of applications for organizational needs and identify opportunities for modernization.
? Develop and document a prioritized remediation roadmap for legacy applications, including technical recommendations.
? Collaborate with stakeholders, including end users, technical teams, and leadership, to gather requirements and align modernization objectives.
? Design workflows, technical specifications, and process diagrams using MS Visio and other tools.
? Use advanced Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI) to document, automate, and report on findings and progress.
? Conduct basic assessments of technical application platforms and databases to inform remediation planning.
? Act as a liaison between end users, technical teams, and software vendors, if applicable, to translate business needs into technical requirements.
? Facilitate system testing and validation processes, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
? Train and support end users to ensure successful adoption of modernized systems.
? Monitor progress on remediation efforts, reporting on key milestones and recommending adjustments as needed.
? Additional tasks and projects will be assigned at leadership discretion.
Mandatory Qualification:
? Specializes in analyzing, designing and implementing information systems.
? Assesses the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaises with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes.
? Uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology.
? Serves as change agent, who identifies the organizational improvements needed, designs systems to implement those changes and trains and motivates others to use the systems.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
? 84 months of experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems to address business challenges.
? 84 months of experience assessing legacy applications and developing remediation or modernization plans.
? 84 months of experience using system analysis and design techniques, including process modeling, data modeling, and workflow design.
? 48 months of experience in an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions.
? 48 months of experience creating roadmaps for system remediation or modernization initiatives.
? 48 months of experience in Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI) for collaboration, automation, and data visualization.
? 24 months of experience conducting training and supporting organizational change management for modernized systems
? Agile Certification (e.g., CSM, A-CSM, SAFe, DASM, PMI-ACP, PSM, CBAP)
? Microsoft 365 Certification (e.g., MS-900 or PL-900 or equivalent)
