Job Details

We are seeking a Techno-Functional PeopleSoft HCM Consultant with deep expertise in Payroll modules to support testing, enhancements, and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both technical development and functional configuration of PeopleSoft Payroll and will play a key role in validating payroll processes, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance.

Experience
10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM experience with a strong focus on Payroll.
Proven expertise in Payroll functional areas: pay calculation, retro pay, tax updates, garnishments, year-end processing, and compliance.
Experience in Payroll testing, including validation of pay results, reconciliation, and audit support.
Involvement in PeopleSoft Upgrade and enhancement projects.
Strong understanding of Payroll rules, configuration, and integrations
Mandatory Skills
Deep understanding of PeopleSoft Payroll business processes
Experience with Payroll setup/configuration, earnings/deductions, tax tables, and pay groups
Ability to interpret functional requirements and translate them into test scenarios
Experience working with SMEs and functional teams to resolve payroll issues

Technical Skills
Strong development experience in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR.
Proficient in PeopleTools 8.60/8.61
Advanced SQL skills for payroll data validation and troubleshooting
Experience with batch processing and payroll reporting
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Security and data privacy standards
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions
