Business Applications Lead - NAV/BC - Hillside, NJ/Hybrid Schedule

Our client is a non-profit food bank whose mission is not only to fight hunger, but also champion healthy lifestyles and promote societal and economic improvement throughout the community.

They are in need of an Applications Lead to act as project manager on their upgrade from Dynamics NAV to D365 Business Central and work closely with internal stakeholders on identifying and implementing system improvements across finance, supply chain, and warehousing.

We are looking for a candidate with advanced knowledge of distribution processes in order to work closely with logistics and warehousing leadership on optimizing current workflows and installing new integrations (such as EDI, bar code scanning, etc.) that can maximize output of food to those who need it the most.

Your New Role:

• Manage the current application ecosystem, including but not limited to: Business Central ERP, Salesforce, ADP, and reporting systems such as Power BI


• Lead the upgrade from NAV to BC


• Act as the hands-on functional lead for company systems, acting a liaison between various operations and finance departments to the IT team


• Coordinate with external vendors and Microsoft Partners on any system enhancements or code modifications


• Oversee a team of two IT support analysts


• Troubleshoot complex problems across multiple technology systems


• Train users on best practices within the software

What You'll Need:

• 4+ years of experience with Dynamics NAV or Business Central


• Ability to gather requirements, document workflows, and design solutions to meet internal stakeholder needs


• Experience on ERP implementation or upgrade projects


• Thorough knowledge of finance, supply chain, and advanced warehousing processes


• Experience with Jet Reports or Power BI is a big plus, not required
