Overview:
Support a federal client's Finance & Payment Technology Services. Perform application development, system maintenance, and technical support. Follow secure coding practices and internal software delivery standards. Work hours are flexible and may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials modules:
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • Accounts Receivables (AR)
  • Accounts Payables (AP)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Project Accounting (PA)
  • General Ledger (GL)
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex accounting and business process issues
• Design solutions with minimal custom code (RICE) using COTS functionality
• Develop and support EFT and NACHA-compliant payment processes
• Create new applications and improve existing production systems
• Use PL/SQL to develop and maintain applications
• Work with Agile/Scrum methods and tools (preferably VersionOne)
• Use ITSM systems (preferably ServiceNow)
• Provide on-call and after-hours support for production systems

Documentation Required:

• Prepare system, training, and user documentation for all software
• Submit documents during each project phase as requested:
  • Inception: Visio diagrams, Use Cases, Data Modeling, Risk, Architecture, Schedule, Cost
  • Elaboration: Use Cases, Data Models, Procedures, Test Cases
  • Construction: Source Code Baselines, Compile Files, Executables
  • Transition: User Guide, Analysis and Design Package, Maintenance and Deployment Package
• Deliverables must meet quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and task order compliance

Required Skills:

• Functional SME experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance operations
• Deep understanding of payment systems and regulations (EFT, NACHA)
• Expert in Oracle PL/SQL
• Familiar with Agile development and Scrum ceremonies
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:

• Accounting certification or strong accounting knowledge
• Strong technical documentation skills
