We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle
for core components including: - Advisory & Account-Based Fee Billing
- Advisor-Based Pricing Models
- Broker & Advisor Commission Payouts
- Small Balance Fees, IRA Fees, Asset-Based Pricing
- Define and drive the roadmap for building and enhancing fee and commission systems, including the migration to Varicent.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional product features and technical stories using JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, business stakeholders, and compliance teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Partner with advisors and field leaders to gather feedback, understand pain points, and validate features pre- and post-launch.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for advisor commissions and pricing strategies in wealth management.
- Lead cross-functional planning, grooming, sprint reviews, and product demos.
- Build proactive relationships with smart, driven peers in Product, Tech, and Operations; be the go-to voice for all things pricing and commission.
Qualifications
- 5 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager / Owner in the Wealth Management or Financial
Services domain. - Proven track record in managing systems related to fee billing, commissions, advisor compensation, and pricing strategies.
- Strong functional understanding of fee management systems and advisor revenue-sharing models.
- Hands-on experience with Varicent, including platform migration or rebuilds (preferred but not mandatory).
- Working knowledge of JIRA and agile development frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience working on complex, multi-year enterprise product
transformation journeys. - Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- A go-getter with a proactive mindset, ability to work in ambiguity, and proven problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in environments with smart, high-performance teams
- Exposure to advisor onboarding, client billing, and revenue modeling
- Understanding of regulatory compliance in investment advisory or broker-dealer environments
