Enterprise Architect role.

Irvine, CA (Possibly remote if it s a right skillset match)

Long term Contract

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using Azure iPaaS or similar middleware tools.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless integration of applications across the company.
  • Develop and maintain integration architecture standards and best practices.
  • Manage the integration portfolio, ensuring all applications are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the integration team.
  • Lead while also contributing individually to the design, implementation and operational support integration solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of integration solutions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all integration solutions.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, integration, software development or a related field.
  • Significant experience with Azure Cloud at the enterprise level.
  • Integration and Data Feeds: Support and maintain existing integration and data feeds, ensuring seamless data flow and system integration.
  • Experience integrating enterprise-class SaaS and on-premises platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Ariba, PLM, JSM, etc.) at API and data levels
  • Azure iPaaS Development: (or similar middleware product): Design, develop, and maintain applications using Azure Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) components such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Logic Apps, Azure Functions & APIM
  • Reusable components: Proven experience designing and implementing custom reusable integration components to standardize and simplify integration implementation
  • SQL and ETL Processes: Develop and optimize SQL queries and manage database systems for ETL processes.
  • Operational monitoring and support: proven ability to troubleshoot and address issues in production workload leveraging various observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights/Open Telemetry, Dynatrace APM)
  • DevOps Management: Implement and manage DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
  • Proven experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent understanding of integration design principles and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with integration tools and platforms such as API management, middleware/service bus, and ETL.
  • Knowledge of security and regulatory requirements related to integration solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Experience in managing large-scale integration projects.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms and technologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Certification in Azure or related technologies.

Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to integration solutions.
