Job Title: Expert Project Manager

The Expert Project Manager will provide Project Management support for DMV Transformation.
Qualifications
Project Manager- Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
Expert- 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
84 months of experience managing projects in a state or federal government environment.
36 months of active PMP certification through PMI (must be current).
84 months of experience in the creation of meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and project communications for 2 or more years of functional projects.
84 months of experience in the creation of project management scopes, business cases, and/or project plans for 2 or more years functional projects
84 months of experience in project management maintaining and managing a 2 or more years functional project schedule including milestones and resources.
84 months of experience using one or more of the following Project Methodologies; Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, Scrum and Lean.
Day-to-Day tasks
Allocation, estimation, and reporting of project resources;
Identification and maintenance of critical path and contingencies;
Utilization of formal project change control process;
Identification, monitoring, control, and mitigation planning of project risks;
Creation and management of project documentation including but not limited to scope statement, schedule, budget, quality plan, risks, issues, and communication plan;
Establishment of project team roles and responsibilities;
Facilitation of regular status meetings with project team to monitor project health and progress;
Creation of weekly and monthly status reports to communicate project status to all levels of stakeholders including executives, sponsors, and management;
Facilitation of sponsor and executive level meetings;
Provide guidance of projects with 20 or more project participants.
