Job Title : Customer Relationship Manager
Location : Richmond VA- (Hybrid)
Duration : 6 Months Approx
Position Summary:
- VDOT is seeking an experienced IT Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to serve as a strategic liaison between IT and assigned business partners across the agency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, relationship management, and strategic planning skills to ensure successful delivery of IT products and services while managing escalations and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
- This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively engage with executive leadership, collaborate with IT and business units, and translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between ITD and assigned VDOT Districts or business units.
- Meet regularly with agency leadership up to the Executive level to maintain strong partnerships and ensure alignment of IT initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure continuous, effective delivery of products and services.
- Partner with business and enterprise architecture teams to define product lines and develop multi-year capability roadmaps.
- Coordinate with project, service, and operations managers to prioritize requests and manage escalations.
- Identify opportunities for new services, service improvements, and innovations that align with business needs.
- Oversee management of stakeholder expectations regarding IT engagement and service delivery.
- Manage escalations involving technology procurements, projects, and service requests.
- Communicate and advocate customer needs within ITD.
- Support compliance with VDOT and VITA policies, standards, and guidelines.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
