Job Details

We are hiring a Duck Creek Developer with a strong focus on Claims to join our team in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek Claims configurations and integrations.
  • Customize claims workflows, user interfaces, and business rules to align with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Conduct unit testing, support system integration testing, and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Stay current with Duck Creek platform updates and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Duck Creek Developer - focused on Claims
  • Strong knowledge of Duck Creek architecture, configuration tools, and integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, and SQL.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Duck Creek Certification
  • Prior experience working with insurance carriers or third-party administrators.
  • Any exposure to Origami or Guidewire is fine too
  • Ability to work hybrid in Michigan or travel onsite would be a nice to have

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
