Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek Claims configurations and integrations.
- Customize claims workflows, user interfaces, and business rules to align with business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct unit testing, support system integration testing, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay current with Duck Creek platform updates and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience as a Duck Creek Developer - focused on Claims
- Strong knowledge of Duck Creek architecture, configuration tools, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, and SQL.
- Experience with XML, JSON, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Duck Creek Certification
- Prior experience working with insurance carriers or third-party administrators.
- Any exposure to Origami or Guidewire is fine too
- Ability to work hybrid in Michigan or travel onsite would be a nice to have
