Senior Operational Excellence Analyst

Stratus is hiring a Senior Operational Excellence Analyst to join our client s newly launched Optimization Team, a startup initiative within the organization focused on delivering measurable process improvements. This role is critical in supporting the rollout of enterprise-wide initiatives. You ll work cross-functionally to identify inefficiencies, analyze data, and drive performance improvements using proven methodologies such as Six Sigma.
This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in process engineering, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making, ready to apply real-world solutions in a complex, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders across business units to assess processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Help to drive operational reviews and pilot programs to demonstrate value through improved efficiency, automation, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Leverage data analytics to interpret results, quantify impact, and present insights through visualization tools.
• Apply Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies to standardize and streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and cost centers to ensure adoption of best practices and maintain alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Contribute to the development of internal operational excellence frameworks and tools.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, or similar roles.
• Strong applied experience with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or higher preferred).
• Experience in data analysis and process modeling; familiarity with tools like Visio and basic visualization platforms
• Proven success implementing process improvements in real-world, cross-functional environments.
• Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently with a builder mindset in a startup-like team environment.
• Experience in consulting is welcome, ideal for someone transitioning from a consulting firm into an industry role.
• Comfortable speaking in facts, data, and metrics over opinions or assumptions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
