Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $80.00 USD Hourly
Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Electrical Engineer in Boise, ID, contributing to high-impact manufacturing projects. You'll oversee design and engineering efforts for semiconductor cleanrooms, laboratories, and state-of-the-art facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering and design for facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems.
  • Oversee designer work, providing technical leadership and performing quality reviews of design packages.
  • Prepare technical specifications and construction documents for bidding and implementation.
  • Conduct site inspections, punch walks, and field interactions with subcontractors and personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC) standards and conduct voltage drop, arc flash, short circuit current, and load flow calculations.
  • Collaborate with clients, owners, and contractors to optimize project execution and implementation.
Required Qualifications
? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering (ABET accredited). ? Current PE Licensure with ability to obtain in Idaho. ? 15+ years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems. ? Expertise in electrical equipment selection, vendor submittal reviews, and engineering practices. ? Ability to perform site punch walk services and work closely with subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Semiconductor, Data Centers, and Mission Critical facilities electrical design.
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, contributing innovative solutions.
  • Passion for buildings, construction, and engineering excellence
