Position Details:
Position: ETL Automation Tester
Location: Charlotte or Plano
Pay Range: $55 - $60/hr.
Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)
Day to Day:
- Conduct thorough testing of databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Develop and implement database automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations and back-end processes.
- Collaborate with ETL developers to ensure data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies within database systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Provide detailed test reports and feedback to stakeholders.
Must-Haves:
- 6+ years of experience in database testing and automation.
- Strong SQL query skills with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Solid understanding of back-end testing methodologies.
