Role: Snowflake Developer
Location: Boston MA- Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and pipelines.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or DBT.
- Create and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, UDFs, and performance-tuned queries.
- Manage Snowflake components like Warehouses, Databases, Stages, File Formats, and Tasks.
- Perform data ingestion from multiple sources including S3, Azure Blob, GCS, APIs, and on-prem databases.
- Implement RBAC, data governance, and security best practices (roles, masking policies, etc.).
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Monitor performance and optimize warehouse usage and costs.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments.
- Troubleshoot data issues and ensure high data quality.
- 3 7 years of experience as a Snowflake Developer or Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake:
- Virtual Warehouses
- Snowpipe
- Streams & Tasks
- Time Travel & Cloning
- Strong SQL and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica / Talend / DBT / Matillion / ADF).
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts (Star/Snowflake schema, normalization).
- Knowledge of Python for automation (optional but preferred).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Snowflake SnowPro Certification.
- Experience with real-time data ingestion and Kafka/Kinesis.
- Experience in DataOps or DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
