Job Details

Position Summary

The Project Support Specialist provides operational and project-based support to designated business units. This role is responsible for assembling, delivering, and documenting customer-facing outreach materials across multiple municipalities. The specialist collaborates with internal teams, supports project communication activities, and ensures compliance with organizational policies while performing field-based responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project-based assistance and support to assigned business units.

  • Collaborate across designated business functions to support project activities.

  • Collect and consolidate available data from required company departments.

  • Assist in developing and executing communication efforts related to project completion.

  • Assemble outreach packets provided by the project coordinator and distribute materials to targeted locations statewide.

  • Deliver up to 600 700 door hangers per day, traveling to 4 5 municipalities daily as required.

  • Document and report any notable findings observed during field distribution to ensure proper follow-up and project closeout.

  • Maintain adherence to organizational and institutional policies.

  • Ability to walk 7 10 miles per day during field outreach activities.

  • Travel as needed throughout the entire NJ service territory, including occasional visits to South Jersey (2 3 times per year).


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (no degree required).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical abilities.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • MS Project experience a plus.

  • PMP certification a plus.

  • High level of professionalism and strong time-management skills.

  • Valid NJ driver's license and reliable personal transportation (Uber/public transit not considered reliable).


Additional Information

  • Mileage and toll expenses are reimbursed.

  • Primary work site is located in Clifton, NJ.

  • Must be open to travel throughout the company's service territory as needed.
