Director of Perimeter Security Operations

Piper Companies is seeking a Director of Perimeter Security Operations to join a Financial Services company located in Dallas, TX. The Director of Perimeter Security Operations will be responsible for leading a distributed team that demonstrates a variety of security platforms to develop, test, and deploy security content to protect their key digital assets against the latest Cyber threats.

The Responsibilities of the Director of Perimeter Security Operations include:

• Leveraging threat intelligence of cyber attackers' techniques, tactics, and procedures, you will identify the appropriate control points to protect against cyber attacks, both internal and external.
• Leading a global operations team responsible for responding to security incidents, assembling the relevant supporting data, and taking the appropriate escalation or action
• Ensuring alignment between business strategy and direction. Support strategic technology planning by identifying, tracking, and experimenting with new and potentially groundbreaking technologies

Qualifications for the Director of Perimeter Security Operations include:

• 10-12 years of security experience desired, preferably in a matrix-driven corporate environment.
• People management experience
• Broad knowledge of perimeter security operations technology to include web application firewalls, Network IDS/IPS, Cloud, and Email Security
• Industry certifications in cyber security incident management, such as, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC and other related credentials

Compensation for the Director of Perimeter Security Operations includes:

• Salary Range: $160,000-$170,000 + 30% annual bonus,
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match of 7%, Holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO), etc.
